MAPPING´s targeted results are aimed to contribute to the European priority of improving quality assurance systems in VET.
The focus is on organizational context, pedagogy and design of teaching sessions, for the following three products from MAPPING:
- The first core result is a MAP: A guideline containing models, methodical-didactical instruments and crucial principles for the optimal implementation and improvement of individualized learning. The guideline is supposed to enable local quality assurance. It is published as a generic version in English, as well as a Slovenian and a Dutch version.
- The second product consists of various teacher training units, based on MAP. The units are test-run in England, Slovenia and Holland, while Denmark and Finland have adapted and valorized elements that are not yet practiced in these countries. In addition, Finland has in co-production with Wales elaborated a MOOC, integrating tools and methods from MAPPING.
- Thirdly, the project contributes with a multimedia documentation of best practice cases from pedagogical experiences in the five partner countries during the project period. This documentation is meant to visualize and inspire new users of methodologies for supporting individualized learning. The multimedia documentation has become integrated into the other products, see above.
